Hi, I'm Melinda

I have been working in private practice over the past 8 years and in this time have developed a strong passion for early life and child nutrition. I strongly believe that nutrition during the early years is crucial for developing positive eating behaviours in our children and reducing risk of future health conditions.

After seeing the lack of nutritional support for many parents struggling with difficult feeding behaviours and stressful mealtimes I decided to complete the Sequential Oral Sensory (SOS) approach to feeding training program so I could better support these families. It has transformed my practice and it has been extremely rewarding seeing these children become more comfortable at mealtimes and expanding their food choices.

I also have a special interest in food allergies, intolerances and gut health. I love being able to provide clear guidance and nutritional support to these families to ensure that they can overcome any distressing symptoms in their baby or child, whilst also supporting healthy growth.

When working with families I have a gentle approach helping both parents and children to feel comfortable to open up and discuss their concerns. I provide families with practical, simple and evidence based strategies to help optimise their baby, toddler or child’s nutrition.

In my spare time I enjoy baking, going for a run, relaxing with a book and playing with my two young nieces.
